The Jazz Age and the vibrant atmosphere of Harlem’s Cotton Club served as main references for Dean and Dan Caten’s seductive yet cool Dsquared2 collection. The lineup, ideal for a contemporary Josephine Baker, focused on Forties-inspired silhouettes. Feminine wool pencil skirts were cut high-waisted with under-the-knee lengths. They were paired with silk blouses and structured outerwear, such as a sophisticated wool coat in a deep orange.

Providing the collection with a young, urban glamour, the Caten brothers also worked denim in patchwork boyfriend jeans and a washed shirt worn under a cropped leather coat matched with baggy silk crepe pants.

I can't see anything here behind that awful styling and atrocious photography. :yuk:

There are some nice individual pieces here, but yes, the styling is horrific.

I feel like it's like two different collection put in together. The styling was off for me.

It's.... interesting...

beautiful model though. this styling and photography though oh my god...

Those pink pants with that jacket.

I like the whole jazz age inspo, but this is a mess.

Shoes with socks? Whats this? 2010??

This gets the worst styling award of the season (if not the year).

Some of the pieces are OK

Meh. This contains some basic pieces I'd be happy to wear, some boring pieces fit for a conservative, 50-year-old primary school teacher, and a cutesy pink dress that I'd totally love - if I were 9. I usually expect more fun and creativity from Dsquared. And don't get me started on the styling...

The second look is alright, but I'm not really liking much else. I think the biggest problem is the styling. Are the socks really necessary?
