The suits look like discarded costumes for Danny DeVito's character in Matilda. The light blue jacket and the denim one are soso but feel out of place amidst all the Salvation Army looks

^^^ It all feels like a trolling collection as a CV for a position at Demna’s Balenciaga.
Problem is that it’s ripped off wholesale from real late-80s mass midrange department store offering that any Jersey Shore Guido would wear back then (he’s missing the Jerry curls here…), without any effort of exaggerated, caricatural redesign that gives a hint of surrealism to Demna’s signatures (or Marc Jacobs). It’s like he discovered some JC Penny deadstock from the late-80s on a trip to New Jersey. It’s so lazy.
