ebay dillema

I purchased a pair of "inspired" mj shoes on ebay. They came today, but are not red, but coral. The seller said it "looks ilke the picture" which it clearly does not. It only cost me $22 so i'm not out that much.

Now, they are still cute, just not lipstick red. Do i keep them? or should i spend $100 to get the real pair that are currently on sale?

They are a little different and i'll probably only wear through this summer.

You would def. get a better response in the shoes forum but I'll give you my opinion anyway.

-Keep the shoes you were sent
-Buy the originals (you can't beat that price)
-Leave neutral feedback for the seller but warn him/her beforehand so that they don't do the same to you and explain that it's clearly not the same color but that you don't wish to bother sending it back. More times than not they make you pay for the shipping anyway so it's not even worth it.

i called every single off fifth and last call stores, as well as the mj stores. nobody has them. damn. the fakes will have to do it. ebay doesn't even have them. ah well. not meant to be i guess.

I'd keep the shoes.. esp. if you think you'll wear them.

hahaha yeah, i didn't want any trouble, so i just left positive and she did the same. though, i did contact another girl that bought the shoes, and she said they were also coral. at least i'm not the only one that was screwed, right? haha

that is the shoe, but in red. the shoe i got is pretty much like that, minus the white line along the bottom of the sole, and it's not rubber, it's a dangrous hardened plastic...(def. need stick on rubber piece so i can wear them) and they are a creamy tomatoe soup/coral color...not the red they are supposed to be.

oh well. that's ebay for ya! gosh, i wonder what my phone bill will be like. i called every single off fifth, last change and mj store there was in usa. i'm scared! lol

i saw those shoes on a nordstroms sale rack like last week. they had quite a few pairs but i don't know if they still would have them. you could try there though.

It is very clever
When I sell stuff online, I never give feedback until the buyer does so. I've come across buyers who wait until I've given positive feedback to complain or even threathen that they'll give neg unless I give them free stuff.

wow, that's crazy. i hate ebay. and i feel that if the buyer pays right away, there is no point in the seller holding back positive feedback. all the buyer has to do is buy. if they've paid, you owe them pos. feedback.

yes, i am aware zappos has them. but i will not spend $200 on them. I will not spend $100 on them either. The most i will spend is $70, cause that is all they are worth. Plus, they don't have red.

This is why i waited so long to get them. They were WAAAY overpriced to begin with.
