I like some of their stuff but I can't say I'm convinced they need to be showing on the runway. It's more akin to Camiel Fortgens or another comparable brand.

The last few years I’ve grown to enjoy Eckhaus Latta’s collections, but I always feel like what I’m seeing isn’t exactly enough. There’s always something visually missing in the looks in a way that just feels or comes across as sparse.

Maybe it’s the show spaces they choose. I just think they need to inject a little something into the veins of the clothes to give a bit more presence. This collection is on the right track though, and perhaps I’m expecting a tad too much from a brand like this.

I actually think it’s solid for a brand of their size. The collection is tight, makes sense, and definitely is a sign of their growing maturity. Maybe the Eckhaus Latta duo should take over Calvin Klein one day? That could potentially be interesting to see, in a good way.
