Too bad about VS. Much of the time she could have spent wearing sexy clothes and posing in daring editorials will be taken up standing around on a beach wearing VS politically correct body armor. She'll make so much money she won't want to do many runway shows either.

I partly agree with youm for me VS is really not excting...at all.
But...high fashion models carreer nowadays seems to last really just for a short time at top level, so no one knows how many seasons can a girl like Edita book 30-40 shows during fashion weeks. So to take the monney when it is there is i think not a crazy choice, at least in the current market...

first of all THANK YOU asmanis and helligirl for the recent Edita pix


but as for Edita gettin the coveted slot to walk for VS this year, it doesn't mean she won't be doing any runways in the near future, either. just look at the other girls like Poly, Inguna, Elise, Morgane etc ...
In fact we might see more of her. which is a good thing.
It's great for her port, gives her an edge.
It's one of those footnote in a model's portfolio that clients look for.
and with that face of hers, her charm, sunny desposition, endearing, incredible bod, she'll snatch more A-List campaigns and shows.
IF the outcome after this is overwhelmingly positive, which i think it's looking like that, earning her wings might just be around the corner.... but who knows really, at least she's on her way for bigger and brighter things in this business. and that's a good thing.

Even the tried and true Angels pale in comparison...No surprise there.

I think I've articulated my points as to what I thought Edita could bring to VS, and others have voiced certainly what it can do for her, perhaps to the detriment of high fashion work. Ultimately if it is a line she can add to her resume that will position her for commercial campaigns, or posture her for greater earning, then by all means, both Edita and VS will benefit greatly from this casting. For now, I'll be content to stare at the gorgeous photos.

I just saw Edita on tv. German television went around backstage at the show and they offered Karolina Kurkova a chocolate cake and she said, she can't do that now. Then they went to Lindsay Ellingson who was not far away from eating it, so they went to Rosie and she looked pissed and said maybe after the show.

Guess who they found in the end who ate it with a bright smile on her face that said "I can eat whatever I want"?
