His work is so inspiring. He makes me want to pick up a dictionary and become knowledgeable of every reference I can in Fashion. I'm envious of his knowledge and his range. Does anyone know if he had a mentor? He started so young and knows so much...Also, I did not know that stylist's had agencies. How exactly does that work?
 
About the same as a modeling agency ... they have your portfolio on file to market you to prospective clients ... and tehy negotiate your fees for a percentage of whatever you book.

Oh thanks! Is there such a thing as an independent stylist? I thought that they just chose to work with magazines they loved and etc. Also, are they aware of the concept of an editorial beforehand?
