anyway, it is called the dwindling party and it is a pop-up book about a family that goes on an outing, and one by one they disappear. its so cool. i will try to take some pics of the pop ups and post them later...

I never knew we had a Gorey thread! I think I wander around with eyes closed 88% of the time. I must get out some of his books again.
I also intend to give some as Christmas presents.. undeniably festive

You know, I'm having a time warp tonight. I gave away some Gorey Christmas cards in high school to my classmates, because I found them on sale and thought they were hilarious not knowing who Gorey was. Only one person told me that they thought it was great, everyone else spent the rest of the week asking me what the punchline of the card meant.
