I'm not sure why anyone hasn't made a thread yet, bored of the same thing maybe?

Anyways, here are the looks, he did something a tad bit different than the last who knows how many collections and some of the pieces are something like his earlier work which IMO were a bit more interesting than the same silhouette throughout the same show.

Gorgeous dresses, and so nice to see a diverse cast in a big show. It's almost impossible to tell the seasons apart with the ES label. I do believe the horizontal striped pieces are new to this collection? I don't recall seeing them in the last 3-4 years of following the label.

Nothing new, yes, but I think they looked timeless. It will be expensive now and even more expensive 20 years later on a vintage rack.

The dresses are amazing as always but I'm scared that threw the years it's going to be always the same(pearls, lace, belt). But what I like the most is probably the gradients. He manages this so well every time.

Always the same but nonetheless beautiful.

Yeah, I agree it's same as always, but somehow this was a better showing for him than the last few. Every look is really good. I most like those striped dresses. I don't think we've seen that technique from him before?

No words, no words. I love everything! Every look is so beautiful! It's the best HC collection in this year! Bravo Elie! It'scouture !

I think his design (...well, eh creations) show how little fashion, design or change a certain group of couture clients expect from their clothes. Sometimes it's a proven fact that you can build a solid business on something quite wholesome that does its job and makes people happy (in this case he delivers a festive garment that makes its wearer feel beautiful and glamourous, and theres nothing wrong with that). I think especially the middle-eastern and south american clientele appreciate Elie Saab, and I see his client different from those of Gaultier or even Chanel, who may have a bit more personal/chic flair in their style.

Man, I just can't fault him for repetition when it's all this beautiful. It's just dreamy.

stunning collection but couture is quickly turning into beaded A line gowns which does get a tad monotonous. I miss the dramatic days of Galliano and Lacroix

When it comes to Elie Saab, I can never get bored with beautiful.

He always puts out beautiful gowns. Its always the same but its always beautiful.
