This is the level of refinement that was once reserved for a September issue. Erykah’s always had this witchy/sorceress/priestess vibe about her, and that not only did ELLE Brazil gets it-- but also fused it with an impeccable high fashion sensibility, makes the effort just that much sweeter, superior and sensual in these days of pedestrian standards and mediocre creativity.

(The first cover select of Anitta is also solid. It’s very old-school ELLE: Sporty and easygoing. The 2nd one, not so much.)
