Meet one brand new face who has just been signed by IMG's new-ish Australian modelling division, who will be included in its MBFWA show pack – 19 year old Elle Brittain from Melbourne.

Scouted online within the last month by Brigette Mitchell from Adelaide’s Finesse Models, Brittain was signed to IMG Models Australia a fortnight ago.

With high profile models such as Lara Stone and Georgia May Jagger making gap teeth fashionable, Brittain, who is 5’9”, has a very contemporary look.

Jerico Mandybur: Where are you from and where are you currently living?
Elle Brittain: My family and I are from Melbourne.

Earliest childhood memory?
My earliest childhood memory would probably be traveling with my dad in the truck or pinching my sisters clothes and getting caught!

Moment that changed your life?
My whole life has been pretty crazy but my most recent would definitely have to be becoming a model! It's all happened quite quickly since I started recently!

Five women you look up to?
I only have 4 women I look up to which is my Mum, both of my Nan's and my sister.

Best piece of advice you ever received?
The best advice I ever received was from my family was to stay grounded and never forget where I come from.

What does beauty mean to you?
Beauty isn't what you look like, it's all about how you perceive yourself and how you feel.

What animal would you like to be reincarnated as?
Maybe a lion or a tiger

What rules would you instil if you were Supreme Leader of Earth for one day?
If I lead the earth, I'd do whatever I could to help those that haven’t got it as good as me.

What song do you really wish you'd written and why?
I wish I wrote '3005' by Childish Gambino.

Best Youtube clip you've ever seen?
Cats massaging each other on YouTube — it's too sweet.
