Is she contractually obliged to wear Vuitton on every single red-carpet and magazine shoot for the rest of eternity? Seriously, it does not suit her. At all.
The problem is that Alicia's personal style is light years away from Ghesquiere's aesthetic, and as many of you have mentioned, the clash between her personal style and what she is styled in by Vuitton, often looks awkward and forced.
I sat next to her at lunch a few years ago at Costes in Paris, and let me tell you, she is absolutely gorgeous in person. She exudes a kind of nonchalance and effortless beauty that I never see replicated in her red-carpet/magazine appearances. It's a shame!
