On the other hand it annoys me that others culturre is potrayed as savagery while the western thought is supposed to be ideal and just.

Oh please. How exactly? It's repulsive to put an animal through that suffering and grind down its horn just because a handful of self-indulgent idiots will pay thousands for it. Me me me, money money money-- that's all I'm hearing. It's such a phenomenal waste of life. I mean at the very least, use the whole animal rather than hacking off your luxury item from its body and then rolling about in your pile of money as it experiences a long, agonizing death.

Aside from the illegality and cruelty of it all, rhino horn is made from keratin. She could get the same effect from biting her fingernails or chewing her hair.

^ what if the animal is not endangered? what if it was a bull's horn? would it be okay to kill it?

No, I don't think it's ok either but rhinos are protected species.
