I think this Lanvin dress was amazing on her , I loved that she tried something different and worked, the dress, earrings, bangles great! The hair though is another story, but Ill over look it cause I loved everything else so much!

I don't understand why she is getting slammed for the hair and jewelry. So what if her earring were big. I thought she looked fresh, beautiful and young, which hasn't always been the case at the previous awards shows. I'm not her biggest fan but I think the whole outfit was great, and she is one of the few actresses I've seen who can wear her hair completely pulled back and look beautiful. Great skin! This look was bang on.

She looks terrible. For some reason she always pulls her hair back soo... tight, and with the combination of the harsh neckline of the dress and the gigantic jewelry, its way to much. Curls softly pulled half up would have worked much better.

I think the "harsh" or rather dramatic and sculptural neckline calls for restrained, unadorned hair. I'm glad there wasn't a curl in sight THAT would have been overkill. Everyone is entitled to their opinion though. Whatevs...

I think she looks a lot like Teri Hatcher when she laughs. Does anybody think the same?
And I know it's already kinda old but she sounds like a total psycho on that punk'd video. I mean the moment when she describes how the waitress' make up and blood would blend after being stabbed. And her boyfriend tried to stop her while laughing nervously. Well, it's freaking-out, not sarcastic or funny...

Ellen Pompeo: Patrick Dempsey is 'A Good Dad'

New father of twins Patrick Dempsey is "a good dad," his Grey's Anatomy co-star Ellen Pompeo tells PEOPLE.

"I think the thing about Patrick is, obviously he has a tremendous love for his wife and his daughter, but he has a tremendous sense of duty," Pompeo, 37, says.

"He's really sort of old-fashioned in that way – he's got a good sense of being a gentleman and taking care of his family, and that's what makes him a good dad. It's an admirable quality."

Dempsey and wife Jillian welcomed sons Darby Galen and Sullivan Patrick in Los Angeles on Thursday. (Galen is Dempsey's middle name.) The couple, who have been married for seven years, also have a 4-year-old daughter, Talula.

In January, the 41-year-old actor told Life magazine of fatherhood: "Now, making money is about providing for my children. And being a father makes you look at yourself. You look at your marriage and go, 'How do I improve this? How do I keep growing and create a stable environment for my children?' "
