ellen could pass for a 15 years old girl.. sometimes i wonder if that is a negative thing or not because she is a great actress but look at her next to marion cotillard for example.. I cant see ellen doing a femme fatale role something like angelina did in wanted or like Lindsay lohan in I know who killed me.. (yeah bad example i know)

She has beautiful skin.

She's really cute, amazing skin. I think she's got great acting chops, but it's going to be hard for her to break out of the "nerdy awkward cool smart" girl roles. I honestly cannot imagine her in a strong/seductive femme fatale type role.

she looks fantastic there in the hat...i love how she stays true to her personal style she is one of the most genuine young actresses out there right now and i'm so glad to see her getting good work. as for the variety in roles.. sure she may be typecast, but i also think almost every actor is to some extent. so she may not be easily cast in the femme fatale role.. but i'm not sure she'd want to play that kind of role. if you think about any actress who often plays the femme fatale, you probably can't imagine her playing the quirky intellectual either..

i think a lot of it comes from her stature too.. she is so petite that, as someone said, she often still really looks like a teenager. i think as she ages we might have an easier time seeing her as other than that..

in any case i think she's a fabulous actor
