Fashion doesn't seem to be her thing. I kinda like that about her.

But I do sometimes wish she had a stylist. She's such a beautiful girl ... it wouldn't take much to make her look stunning.

i think a big part of the whole point of ellen is not to 'polish' her too much
she's making such a splash because she's so real
and she doesnt seem to want to be thrown into the young hollywood machine

. . and who would want that for her?
i think people love that she's not like every other starlet
who gets 'discovered', has potential, hires a stylist, becomes 'fashion conscious' and comes out the other end like a manufactured little doll (a la rachel zoe's girls)

Oh, I was saying that as a bad thing...I was just sort of pointing out a fact. I personally think her look really suits her, like the dress with the leather jacket, it looked good.
I prefer her to someone like Blake Lively who had no fashion sense at all prior to GG & now all of a sudden she's going to couture shows & on Teen Vogue...it's so boring.

I agree with you. On all the red carpet images I have seen of her she has looked nice, but kind of boring and too simple. She seems to have such a spunky personality and I would love to see that show through her clothing choices.

In Canada she is represented by the GARY GODDARD AGENCY (Kish Iqbal)

and in the US she is with Gaby Morgerman (William Morris Agency) same agent to Courtney Cox and Mark Ruffalo apparently.

i understand that she's not succumbing to the rachel zoe look that all starlts do,but she doesnt stick to her personal style either.if she's a converse and jeans girl,i'd wish she wore a pantsuit or jumpsuit on the carpet.cuz right now,she's wearing dresses intended for a 40 yrs old actress.black,boring,the same.

i think the point is though is that ellen isnt into all the award shows and publicity show case things, really just the method of acting and making films At awards shows like the sag awards she is just happy to blend in and she does this by wearing plain black dresses that are pretty and nice but nothing amazing. To wear a jumpsuit would be to scream out for attention and that doesnt seem like ellens style, she seems like she would love to just skip all the red carpet and just go straight to the actual show but shes super nice all the same and looks sweet in her simple black dresses
