Measurements?

Hi guys,
Not sure if this has been brought up in this thread so sorry if I repost, but what's up with Elsa's measurements? On her IMG page she is a sz8 33-25-38 (Us size I presume since she's signed to the NYC division, making her a 38 European) and on her IMG pol card it's only sz4 33-24-35...hmm.
According to her mother agency (MIKAs) she's an European size 34 (=Us sz4) with 83-61-93 = 33-24-37 rounded up. At supermodels.nl she has the standard 79-58-88 = 31-23-35 rounded up... Confusing!

So two questions - why does IMG have two completely different measurements for her? After all, there's a huge difference between being a sz 4 and a sz 8 not to mention how a sz 8 model with the exceptionally hippy 38" could be signed to a large agency in the first place... I'm not trying to be rude here, I love Elsa and if she's as large as they claim then Earth will stand still for a moment. ;)

Ok, second question, if whoever did her IMG page failed math then what are her *real* measurements?

US 8 would be her shoe size...
As for the measurement discrepancies, MIKAs is probably the most up-to-date...
The stats on supermodels.nl are from when they added her profile years ago...
Models can grow (and fluctuate) too, you know...

True, 8 is her shoe size and nothing else..I got it confused with dress size since 36" is 8's hip measurement.

Re if Elsa is succesful -
She's been in the top modelling world for like 4 years now, had her covers and a lot of commercial jobs. She's not your waif jaded "hf model" so commercials are her main focus.
However, she's not landed any fragrances, VS, big make up company, or anything like that yet but let's be fair, that happens when you're on your last breath of your model fame.
There are of course a few shortcommings - she's no designer's pet (perhaps cos she's too normal looking for runways), and she's in the elfish category which everyone has gotten bored of by now.
So all in all, I'd call her successful concidering what Nature gave her.

so what you're saying is that she is a successful model, BUT in modeling's more commericial circles rather than the high-fashion circles? Would you say that she's the type of model that you'd most likely see in the pages of Glamour, Cosmo and Marie Claire vs. Vogue, Numero or Harper's Bazaar?

She's already done two Cosmo covers and two Elle so the answer is kinda biased...
Personally, I can see her on whichever cover really - it's all down to styling. But with her sweet smile, the first thing that comes to mind is of course to pamper her gorgeous and let her exhuberate happiness rather than to deconstruct her for a "difficult and edgy" look...

Elsa herself says in a recent interview (in Swedish - http://www.cafe.se/?id=671470) that reaching the top of the modelling world is no longer what motivates her - it's the big money that drives her. She also talks about the versatility of her look and how easily she can transform herself to fit either the high fashion camp or the commercial camp. And she's moving to NYC! :lucky:
