Too beautiful/standing out? Too commercial looking?

(Let's call it the 'Ymre Stiekema syndrom'.)

Except Ymre has a pre-raphaelite beauty whereas Elsa is rather fairylike and cookie-cutter, not necessarily a good thing in High Fashion. It would be a shame if being a high fashion model was her goal but she seems to favor commercial jobs. She did walk for big designers in the past, change her look to be more commercial and get the money jobs has to be a choice of her.

^I think Elsa is unique looking, but as you said, she seems to be pretty deliberate in choosing commercial jobs. It sounds like a much easier (+ more profitable) way of modeling than exhausting your self going walking 60 shows a season.
