I haven't seen the pic you're referring to, but I think I already know what you mean. In theory the more slimmer/petite girl would suit Balenciaga's cartoonish nipped waist/perky bottom(bosom) look better, but I personally feel Emilia adds an interesting dimension with her more wholesome figure.
