MODEL MOMENT WITH EMILY TT
MY NAME IS… Emily but my friends call me Em, Beanie, Pants or Trimble...depends on whom you're talking to!
MY NUMBER ONE MODEL MOMENT…was walking in a Jean Paul Gaultier haute couture show in Paris!
I AM REPRESENTED BY…Giant.
I AM CURRENTLY…studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne.
SOMETIMES I LIKE TO… rock climb...indoors, I try to avoid the sun as much as possible!
I DON’T MEAN TO, BUT SOMETIMES I…forget people's names...I'm working on it!!!
WHEN I’M MODELLING I… love to have a good relationship with everyone on set! I feel more comfortable and it makes it easier for everyone to collaborate.
I NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT…water!
MANY PEOPLE DON’T KNOW THIS ABOUT ME...but I can do a really good bird call. It's tricked many tourists around the tan!
FOOD IS… the most wonderful social experience, eating at a restaurant or home with friends or family is one of the best ways of spending one's time and my favourite food is the cuttlefish starter from Gingerboy in Melbourne.
THE PROS & CONS OF BEING IN THIS INDUSTRY ARE… Pros: I really think modelling has been such an eye opening experience in that; I have met such a diverse range of people with so many different talents and interests that I wouldn't have been exposed to otherwise. I really think it's an amazing opportunity to be surrounded by artists and other really motivated people on a daily basis. Cons: waiting, damaged hair, tiredness, foot pain, jet lag.
FASHION IS…a wonderful tool that can reflect any mood. Sometimes you want to dress like a boy, sometimes you need to be serious and look strong and sometimes you just can't be bothered. It can really change your approach to the day...helps you play a part.
I MAINTAIN MY MODEL LOOKS BY… Pilates and power flow yoga for strength and tone, ballet for poise, Crealine and Embryolisse for my skin, and touché éclat for those days when I'm not exactly well rested
