Title: Some Enchanted Evening
Model: Emma Karlsson
Photographer: Troyt Coburn
Magazine: Vogue Australia July 2008

Scanned by me.

thank you for the scans :bounce:
I adore her with a bird  they seem to be able to speak togetherB)
I just wish they hadn't transformed her lips in some pictures,
I realise she' would,'t be that appealling at all to me with bigger lips and would remind me of some blondassesthat I just can have fun of
Emma you rock with your own no lips look that's part of your appeal

She has a really cute face, her features are strong but are also very soft. I think her lips are fine and fit her face well.

That last editorial is stunning.

wow mariemaud that's such a beautiful photo you took!

Treis Stewart: How and when were you discovered?
Emma Karlsson: I was discovered when I was 13, It was in an amusement park called Liseberg in Sweden.

TS: What is your favourite thing about the fashion/modeling industry?
EK: What I like most is that I get to travel and meet new people and also to wear all these fab clothes (laughs).

TS: What is something that you dislike about the fashion/modeling industry?
EK: That I have to be away from my friends and family so much and sometimes it's hard with late nights and early mornings.

TS: When are you most nervous and what thoughts cross through your mind?
EK: I'm always nervous about my shoes before I enter the catwalk, or if I do a show for a big designer.

TS: Where is your favourite city to work in and why?
EK: I just came home from Singapore and that was an amazing country, loads of work and fun. But my favourite city, hm I cant decide between Paris, London and NY. They're all fab, But I think I work the most in Paris.

TS: Do you have any beauty secrets that you could share with us?
EK: Beauty secrets, hm..I drink a lot of water (laughs).

TS: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
EK: I hope that in 10 years I am still a model and that I can earn my living so I don't have to work more than as a model. Ì also wanna live in Paris or London. I don't want kids though.

TS: Are you inspired by any other model or public figure?
EK: No, not really. I'm more into music to be honest, But i can neither sing or play an instrument. I only got in to this business because I was found on the street, I never thought I could be a model before that. But I love Twiggy. she is someone that I look up to, and I love Kate Moss` style for clothes.

TS: Besides modeling, what do you like to do?
EK: On my spare time (when i have it) I love to just hang out with my friends, grab a coffee and just sit and talk for hours. I'm also a party girl and I love festivals and concerts. I actually just came home from a festival and I`m going to one more soon.

TS: What are some of your favourite songs or musical artists?
EK: I listen mostly to Swedish music like Kent, Håkan Hellström and The Knife. I also love Daft Punk, Justice, Uffie and Bloc Party.

TS: Do you have any special or “cool” talents?
EK: (Laughs) No, I'm pretty useless that way, but I danced when I was 10 until I was 15.

TS: Is the modeling industry really as competitive as they say it is, or is that theory just somewhat of an urban myth?
EK: I don`t look at the industry as competitive. Of course I know that every other girl with my look can take my jobs but I`m just happy for what I get. I`d rather make friends that enemies.
