ON THE OCCASION OF THE OFFICIAL OPENING OF CITY PAVILION, THE NEW SHANGHAI CITY GLOBAL BRAND CAMPAIGN HAS BEEN LAUNCHED TO TELL A NEW VISION OF CHINESE CITY AND COMMUNICATE ITS TRUE EMOTIONAL IDENTITY

Through partnership with Milano Municipality, the Information Office of Shanghai Municipality launches the new Shanghai City global brand campaign, Shanghai. Let’s Meet!. The launch phase of the campaign will run from June 9-18th during the 2015 Expo Milano’s Shanghai Week.

This campaign was developed to amplify a new modern vision of Shanghai, boost its cultural influence, and communicate its true emotional identity. The campaign slogan, “Shanghai. Let’s Meet!,” was shaped from Shanghai’s rich heritage as a place of cultural convergence, and focus on four themes: architecture, cuisine, design, and fashion.

Launch phase of the campaign is supported by a series of robust events and partnerships. The focal point will be Shanghai’s exhibition in the City Pavilion, officialy opened to the public in the city center, at Duca D’Aosta Square. This pavilion will hosts an exhibition, curated by Alan Chan and Yann Debelle de Montby, inspired by the campaign concept, which shows the two different souls of Shanghai, one link to traditions and the other projected into the future.
