yeah, she really does look bad without makeup or re-touch.
it's like with every new editorial under top worldclass photographers/editors, she manages to look progressively worse.
i think under natural light her dark skin really shows, and it's not a nice tawny dark skin tone but this jaundiced, yellow tone. a poor peasant feel.
and she has like zero expression in her eyes, like completely lifeless.
i do like the styling & the backdrop of the red wall is gorgeous, but i'm afraid Pei Bei ruined the pictures.
PS. i love how she didn't have enough energy to climb the stairs so they fed her diet soda
