La La Land has 100% on Rotten Tomatoes right now (only 22 reviews so far but still). I'm usually no big fan of musical films but I wanna see this one. More so because of Emma and Ryan than the good reviews so far

Loved her dress at the Venice premiere of La la land, and the Versace at the premiere as well. The former is a bit twee but it suits her, and the silver gown is pretty spectacular on her! I'm glad she's getting such great reviews for her performance, her appearances during awards season next year are something to look forward to

VENICE, Italy — Emma Stone won the Venice Film Festival’s best actress prize on Saturday for her role as Mia, an aspiring actress and playwright who’s deep into the magic of the old movie stars, in Damien Chazelle’s musical “La La Land.”

In a recent interview with Variety at the Telluride Film Festival where the film saw its North American debut, Stone talked about identifying with the character of Mia.

“I definitely understood the feeling of moving to Los Angeles and having a dream to be an actor in films and to get to be a part of things that I loved and inspire people in some way,” she said. “It’s pretty insane that we’re talking about this movie and it’s something that I’m so proud and excited to be a part of, when that is the goal of the character, is to be a part of something like this.”

Recent winners of the Coppa Volpi that have gone on to receive Oscar acting nominations include Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman (“The Master”), Colin Firth (“A Single Man”), Cate Blanchett (“I’m Not There”), Helen Mirren (“The Queen”), David Strathairn (“Good Night, and Good Luck.”), Imelda Staunton (“Vera Drake”), Julianne Moore (“Far from Heaven”) and Javier Bardem (“Before Night Falls”).

I really feel like this is her year to win Best Actress She is getting rave reviews and has so much goodwill in the industry. I'm so glad she's bad to her red bob haircut, that length and color is just so "her."

The red bob makes me so happy, she looks stunning. And I'm really happy for her with all the sensational reviews she's gettind + the Venice win. It's still too early to predict anything but she's definitely establishing herself as this year's frontrunner.
