I was watching the John Hughes Academy Awards tribute and I spotted Emma Stone in the audience at the end behind Kristen Stewart:



I knew she was at the Vanity Fair after-party, but I didn't know she was at the actual ceremony. She looked amazing that night. Also appropriate to show her as Easy A was highly influenced by John Hughes.

Her choices this award season are just wow. Not totally unexpected but surprising nonetheless. I don't think other gals her age would have gone this route.

The hair is actually really good. From the footage I saw on TV, it looked like a toned down version of Kate Winslet's hair at the Oscars in 2009. I'm really loving the way her red carpet style is going. Balenciaga, Calvin Klein and now Lanvin. All equally age-appropriate and fun gowns. This is how a young up-and-coming actress should dress!
