Is the character Emma plays in The Help supposed to unattractive? Just curious.
It seems like they downplayed her looks.

I think she's playing Skeeter Phelan (because of the hair), one of the main characters, so good for her.She's not the typical Southern belle, and her hair is supposedly really frizzy.

I loved The Help, it stayed with me for a long time after finishing it (you is smart, you is kind, you is important *sigh*). Hope the movie does justice to the book.

Very disappointing indeed. She could have really wowed at the Met but instead she opted for something safe and very boring imo.

Also not a big fan of her hair or makeup either.

^I dont mind the dress either, the print is lovely the shape not so much but for the Met Gala its a big snore, wouldve loved to see her wearing a quirky McQueen piece like one of the tartan numbers from the fw 06 collection
