Emma Stone

emma is sooo naturally beautiful, i don't get how revlon can take a gorgeous girl like her and produce mediocre ads that take away from her beauty leaving her looking so meh

Just saw a blonde Revlon TV commercial while watching The Bachelor. It was very candid and she said something like, "As a baby, I cried nonstop for 6 months. That's why I sound the way I do.." then went on about imperfections (to promote the foundation at hand). I'd heard she was a colicy baby but I like Revlon's approach with this ad.

^ Blah. Sorry but I just don't know what's going on with her lately. She looks lifeless. Her hair badly needs a treatment.

i've gotta agree with you. she has seemed to lost her spark. she doesn't even resemble the same girl that she was. i do hope everything is alright in her life.

She's given into being a typical Hollywood actress which is sad. I wouldn't mind her overexposure if she still had that spark she had when she first broke out.

I think is the blonde hair+paleness+blue eyes... there´s no contrast, nothing stands up. She just looks like a pretty blonde girl.

It's interesting looking at VF Hollywood issues over the years and seeing who made it on top and who sizzled out. I fear Emma is falling into the latter category already.

I don't think she'll fizzle out cuz she has too much drive. I think she's dangerously close to Rachel McAdams territory though: a talented actress who lets herself get typecasted into safe romantic comedies/vanilla roles.

She's contracted for Spiderman, but she could step away from the other popcorn flicks picks she keeps doing and try something more edgy/indie. (Basically, take a page from Jennifer Lawrence maybe?)

i have to disagree. i think although her look has gotten away from her lately, the talent is still there. albiet, yes, jennifer lawrence for instance has a bigger range and will be the top actress people reach out to for coveted rules, emma has staying power and the industry still adores her. besides spider-man, she's got her cameron crowe movie (which, nobody really knows the details of positively yet) and is rumored to be in guillermo del toro's next horror flic which is nothing like she's ever done before. i think even she knows she has to step outside the box and her comfort zone. i remember her saying, i believe at the gangster squad premiere, that she is interested in doing more indie flicks and attaching herself to interesting projects that need help with funding.

I for once don't really see the reason for panicking. Her career is going well, she has some really nice projects coming and I can only see her going up from here.

But about the hair, I agree. Blonde really washes her out, especially with the bangs. The red hair used to ad a great singularity to her, I hope she goes back to it asap.

Right? All this because her hair isn't on point right now?

lol wait just because she did a major worldwide press conference and hasn't been smothering the limelight with her presence for a few months means she's sizzling out? what. god forid she slow down a little. she's not a cw star who can't get work. we go months without hearing about michelle williams and then she always pops up in another amazing role.

More because she was terrible in the awful Gangster Squad and has yet to show any range. Her limited skills + fading looks could turn her into the next Alicia Silverstone.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought these comments were a little strange. While I think eventually she'll fade out (and that she's a little overexposed at the moment), it's certainly not a year after The Amazing Spider-Man. She still has the Cameron Crowe project.
