I noticed there isn't a post yet for Erik Madigan Heck? He's a young photographer and also the founder of the online art mag Nomenus Quarterly.
Here are some of the images he did for Mary Katrantzou's FW11 collection earlier this year. So beautiful!
Apparantly they are inspired by the paintings of Vuillard and Bonnard (from the 19th Century). Here's what Heck has to say about them:
“[The images] signify a different direction in my own work, where I am trying to flatten the space between photography and illustration, by eliminating photographic elements and painting on different surfaces and colors in post-production, attempting to move closer towards painting itself, in process and form.”
