thanks runner...don't think those pics really do those pieces justice...it's hard to imagine them as part of an outfit...i think his work is rather complicated...

take a bit of effort to make it work it seems...
i think his tailoring skills seems quite good though...

I've decided that I like him.
Some very nice pieces and fresh ideas.

To be honest, I only like the outfits posted from #25 to #29, where just one distinct idea is pushed to its ethereal limits. I get visual fatigue from too many "decontructed" pieces piled on, and where the individual elements (leggings, split skirts and jackets, etc.) aren't as original or unique and look similar to those of other decon designers. The sum is simply not greater than its parts, and deconstruction as a movement is getting a bit tired....the older feathery blouses I absolutely love, though.

anyone know what's going on with this designer lately?...

It reminds me a of Tashi, London....... some of the clothes. But I quite like it all and would probably wear it all separately.

runner - thanks for that link!
i am going to post some of those pictures for the sake of discussion

sort of ... underwhelming. i didn't post a lot of the images...
i feel like this is the kind of thing you have to see in person. there was one black dress that was really cool but the way everything is styled makes it look like the pieces don't matter ...
