I think my favorite song this year is from Spain. Can't wait for the actual thing though. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Ukraine does well. I didn't care for the song at all, at first, but it has really grown on me.

The heavy favorite is Norway and I really can't see anyone else winning at this point. But who knows, lets wait to see them all perform first.

Heh This year my countrys song is sooo lame, its like UK's songs are every year, minus the flight attendants..

I like the melody and the girl has a nice voice, but IMO, that song needs a lot of work. First of all, out of the three minutes, the first two minutes are just instrumentals (I know she sings like three words towards the end there). Then even after she starts singing the song, the whole thing is like 3 lines. What? And last, but not least, I hope that's not the show they're planning on putting in Moscow. She spends 80% of the number behind the white sheet, lol. The whole thing is just kinda bizzare.

Well they won't change the song, that's for sure. 1. They're not allowed to change it (because of the Eurovison rules). 2.Having 75% instrumental song makes us different. But yeah, I agree, they should change their stage performance (and the dress, get rid of that dress!).

bla bla. I dony like Lithuania song and guy. They are not "eurovision"

Apparantly Ukrainian entry has been met with quite a reception in the last couple days at concernts in London and Amsterdam. People are loving it. Yay. I think Svetlana is going to bring the house down at the actual show.

After just spending like 3 hours listening to them all, here's my ranking of the songs. I pretty much love the Top 20. Good group.

I really should go and listen to all the songs too! Currently Finland's song is the only one I've listened (too many times), since its one of the biggest party songs here.

I only know songs of my country and countries next to us.I think that this year's Montenegrin song is one of the best that we presented ever, tough I'm not a big lover of Eurovision and their songs.

Our song is pretty good this year. Last year i was criticizing the trend of attending the contest with beautiful girls with short skirts but i think we did the same thing this year...:ninja:
Anyway at least our song ' Düm Tek Tek' rocks and Hadise is a real hottie :mohawk:

^ oh damn speaking of last year harun Tekin look really hawt :P

^ I know! He really was hot, if he had been singing a song in English, he could have gotten a better place..

I just listened Norway's song because there seems to be quite a fuss around it, but I didnt like it at all :( Sweden's song is also a bit weird for me...

Hopefully this year there is not so much voting for the neighbour countries anymore...Nordic countries usually vote for each others and Eastern European countries as well, but I think the whole meaning of the competition gets ruined like that. Though, I have a feeling that this year my country wont be saved even by Sweden. Finland's song is getting on my nerves. I think we should have stayed true to ourselves and just go with rock/heavy instead of this dance/pop song that wont stand out. Such a shame.

First semifinal starts in half hour. Yay. Go Bosnia and Iceland.

Personally I'm the most exited about Natalia Vodianova
