i find some of her designs quite intriguing and i thought she deserves a thread.
this is her website:
www.evablut.org/
i could only save some pictures, maybe someone else can post more?

i forgot there are pictures on contemporary fashionnet too...
she is mostly known for her accessories i think, bags etc, but you can wear some bags as skirts and vice versa...

^that's from the winter collection 2003/2004 called "solid twist"

dont like her designs at all, they dont show much expertise and sophistication, imo.

I find I like this. Seems 'indie'... simple but unique, and cute.

I love this collar:

and this cape-jacket:

^_^

^yes, the collar is lovely.
i think she is still developing as a designer and i wouldn't call her sophisticated but i like her humour and interest for experiment.

Love Eva Blut! Her work is incredibly quirky and often reminds me of connotations of her Austrian roots in the style. Particularly, the images you posted Anna. She's also very different from the atypical Austrian "uniformity" and neo-modern style. It's actually quite exuberant and romantic.

^yes, i can relate to what you said about "austrian roots"
and this romantic and quirky side of her work, that is what i find so refreshing.

It's very gypsy. It would look good on Bjork.
The shoes on the third post are cute and I wish I could wear them lol.

some of these pieces look very nice Anna - others are too 'austrian' far my taste. Thanks very much for posting.

:woot: i adore Eva's work, actually i've been thinking about her yesterday, so glad to see this new topic spacemiu
