In last Wednesday (09/06), no one spoke of nothing but the participation of Evandro Soldati in the video for "Alejandro," the singer Lady Gaga. The model, who recently photographed a campaign for Dolce & Gabbana with Steven Klein, the Biennale came to watch the parade of Animale. The portal FFW talked to him about the clip, his vision about fashion male models and clear, Gaga.
Check out the interview:
You have been come to know Lady Gaga? He talked to her?
I was introduced, like 'hi okay'. She thanked me for being part of it all. I talked more with the dancers ...
What was the size of the structure?
Giant. I've never worked in a studio of that size, the Downey Studios in Los Angeles. Had about 200 people involved.
And his costume, that?
It was just a slip, right? [Laughs]. And a 44 caliber gun, gold, which was true!
How much recording time?
Mine was quick, two and a half hours.
Who made the invitation?
It was Steven Klein. Two weeks before the clip I was shooting with him to campaign for Dolce & Gabanna in the neighborhood of Little Italy, NY, and he invited me.
You recently photographed for the magazine Made In Brazil, focused on male models. Do you think this thread has little room in fashion?
I think a lot! It was very nice to do this work. Outside Brazil the model has more space - still does not compare to the area of women, but we have. Here in Brazil it will be difficult to change.
What do you think of Lady Gaga?
An icon, the icon of the moment. I like the sound of it.
[Person in the chair next question] Who are you? Why are you interviewing?
'm Nobody! I am a model who has been a long time in the fashion world.
