She's talked about how she was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease a few years ago and gained something like 30 pounds. Her body has changed but her face has remained pretty much the same.

I remember that story came out around 2012 and there it was mentioned that it was already a few years ago so I think it references that awkward VS show where she couldn't fit into one of her outfits (circa 2008 I think). But surely that doesn't explain the general decline in work for the past decade.

i never saw a reason for karolina's comeback, so to speak. she never felt very relevant in the recent years to me, unlike eva herzigova who's managed to keep her status throughout the years and seems to become more magnetic as she ages.
