^ Wow, I wish that I lived in Australia or that I could travel there because that sounds like a great event.

I've seen people use her work as LJ icons and I'm glad that I found out who the artist is. I think that Fafi's work is very cute and interesting.

My avatar is Fafi. I really love her work even though I've never seen it in person I wonder if she's going to any exhibitions in NY anytime soon? I think she had one in LA a few years ago.

Her illustrations reminds me of my old fairy tales books ... so cute!

Is there a story that goes along with the illustrations? Also, why is her work considered to be 'graffiti' art? Her work seems to be a direct take off on Japanese illustrations and not very inventive. I do like the colors she uses, though.

^ I suppose it's because she started painting on walls, although she uses paint + brushes instead of cans.

Fafi is lovely. I went to the aforementioned Curvy launch in Sydney as I am one of the artists exhibiting there.

The Curvy exhibition is in Queensland at the moment I think, along with Fafi. So you should go there if that's where you are. Otherwise grab a copy of the Curvy book, plenty of beautiful illustrations and designs.
