OK, I've decided that the all-time chicest video is "Vogue" by Madonna, I saw it again a few days ago and it is the absolute most fashionable video. Everything from the hair and make-up to the lighting and the sets.......pure gorgeousness.

OMG! You're my music soulmate! I love your picks!  :flower: :flower:

And about Shirley Manson's dress on "Stupid girl" ... well, the band -Garbage- records in Madison, WI (Butch Vig's hometown) and she bought the dress at a local shop for like $14!!!!

Yes I heard that, too! I've wanted that dress since I was 13

maroon 5 - this love. the boys look hot, and the woman in the video is looking good- i think she's wearing gucci- anyone help me out if you know

If we're talking Madonna, I'm an Express Yourself kind of gal.

If we're talking anything other than Madonna, the obvious answer is Wham! with Wake Me Up

Not necessarily best of the best, but I think Aguilera's "Fighter" is quite an interesting video from the "fashion- style" perspective...

For me, the most fashionable videos are those featuring musicians who can convey their own personal style.

For instance, Bjork (Bachelorette), Feist (One Evening), Karen O (Maps), etc.

I agree with Spike, Madonna's Vogue and of course George Michael Freedom'90. I mean that one is all the most famous models of the time lipsyncing (naomi, linda, etc.)

fashion in music vids

i have always found music videos realy interesting for fashion.im always looking at what everyones wearing.I would post my faves only i dont know how to atatch pics!has anyone got any fave music vids they would like to share?

I swear there is a topic just like this somewhere... anyone have the link ?? :flower:

Anyways.. I suppose I like Gwen's new video.. Of course the Yeah Yeah Yeahs too

I'm requesting that this topic be moved to the music section, as I don't have all of my Mod abilities yet...

Regardless, it's been posted in the wrong section and will be moved ASAP.

I am personnally more into the song than the look of the singer video itself (which is basically only for marketing purposes in my opinion).

But if I had to pick, I'd say Lenny Kravitz' outfits are neat.

I enjoy how musicians dress alot.

Bjork is of coarse an amazing dresser, i love the way Patrick Wolf dresses. also Exeane from X, and I like Courtney Love's grungy baby doll look.
