You know what I'm talking about.

Catch-phrases like "must have" and "it bags". Sometimes I feel like fashion writers have no imagination!

I'm tired of "must have" as well. "425 Fall Must Haves!" "THE MUST HAVE IT BAG!!!"

Additionally, I'm tired of "The Perfect Dress" or "Best Workout for You," although I don't know if the last one would qualify as a cliché or not.

Almost every statement on the exterior of the majority of magazines...

I hate it when in interviews with celebrities, they always devote a paragraph to mention how gorgeous they are.

In and out lists are usually awful too, unless they're done with a sense of humor.

I'm sure there's more I'll think of.

Completely agree with all !
I'm sick of it coz it gives a creepy image of fashion mags, especially to people who don't know much more than the wide-spread mags like Cosmo-Vogue-Elle which are often full of those clichés

The articles of Vogue/Harper's/Elle all seem to be computer-generated by a mainframe with a fetish for 1950s women's glossies writing.

How In Cosmopolitan Every Letter To The Magazine Uses Language Appropriate For A 3year Old Valley Girl.

reprits
must have/ key items
the new...(usually followed by 'smart')
the black/jeans/romantic/smart comebacks (for the last few years, every season)
over photoshopping
cheap ads (US vogue, not that I ever read it)
celebs on cover (not so much because they are celebs, but they always need to promote their products, themselves really)

magazines trying to be extremely cool/young (no, I don't like iD)
party coverage with tiny pictures of people you don't know
overdose of print on the cover

and most of all: 'SHAPE EDITORIALS!! :yuk: You know, they do it every year, the one that says 'round' 'tall' 'short' etc. All bull, if you ask me...:innocent:

I have another two ...Kate Moss.

I hate the hypocrisy of articles that encourage you to embrace your body yet turn to the back numerous adverts for plastic surgery.

^^same here, even if I like caroline a lot
celebs on each covers and even worse, editorials with celebs, there are so many good models that need more editorial work

I'm sick of Caroline T. in American magazines. I don't hate her but she has been too overexposed and it really irritates me.

I hate reprints, unchanged images or editorials as well.

actresses (crappy ones) being on covers and having multiple pages dedicated to them.

Kanita, I don't like ID either for the same reasons. I love the editorials featured in magazines like more youthful magazines Nylon, Dazed and Confused, and ID, but I think they try too hard to be cool and exclusionary.

To quote Marie Claire: the invasion of cause celebs. Some people act like giving 0,001% of your income to charity makes you a saint.

It's not a catch phrase, though, but something you see too much these days.

Oh, and I'm also tired of seeing actors on the cover of Fashion magazines. In my opinion they might just as well put Tiger Woods on the cover of a swimming magazine. But that's just me.

I am sick of "12354564832 New Looks This season" and boring actresses on the covers of fashion magazines and campaigns.
I also despise best dressed lists or best dressed of all time.etc *yawn*
