I would like to know, what do you think fashion watch trend on 2006

i think those 'square' Prada watches might be leading the market soon...
they are all over the place (in europe) and -even if i dont find them chic- they seem destined to be influencial

welcome to tFS pat99 :flower:

 I've always adored square watches. The just seem to suit me better...and I was pleased when I started seeing more chunky watches, because I have such delicate wrists and hands (my "big thumb" is only a 7 and my left ring finger is only a 4) and I've always felt that a delicate round watch only emphasizes that...and makes my lower arms look emaciated and my fingers bony.

How about oval shape

;) O! ic, How about the oval shape watch ? seem start to get more in the market!

Realy thank you for your advise!

i wont bet on oval shapes at this moment while Prada is stealing the scene, but i can see more of smaller to tiny, feminine oval shapes (maybe with thin leather bracelets or plain velvet ribbons) as soon as the turn-of-the-century / victorian trend starts taking off (we can already see the first signs)

Prada has created a square trend already, just a close look to all recent watch advertisments will show you how much influence those square Prada have in the global watch market

I prefer the tiny, delicate watches because my wrist is really tiny...I find the great big watches that have been popular for so long are really overpowering and make me feel like I am wearing handcuffs or something.

my mother's given me a tiny antique oval-faced watch that is perfectly aligned with the victorian trend...but it doesn't work. it's going to be really expensive to get into working order apparently, but I'd really like to because it really is lovely.

why dont you just wear it as an accessorie utopia?

^ I have done, but it clashes with my watch that does work, so I can only wear it when I don't need to know what time it is. ;)

0h no.. wear both of them, it must be so cute :)

Vintage.

A Lot Of Huge Colors And Watches Are Huge Also. How Bigger How Better. A Lot Of Different Sized. And For The Chic Ones, It Would Be Round And Big. And Don;t Forget Bling. Bling Is So 2006.

I've seen a lot of vintage style square plates around here. A bit like the Prada ones, but just one color, the face is a metal contour and the wrist band is just like plain leather. No numbers inside, just very plain.
