I agree with the majority, this is awful. I'm tired of this Daria + Cass Bird combo, the result is always the same. And the hair is just terrible beyond belief. And the masthead and the image placement are weird and she looks like she has no neck.

My first thought as well. The comments in here are amazing though, especially the Mapplethorpe comparison by testinofan . Far better than the actual end product.

I don't understand this new, severe Daria. God knows I was tiring of Balmain Daria, but this new 'blasted', Teller chic incarnation of Werbowy is terrible. Sad because I was getting adjusted to the new hair cut.

I'm with jmrmartinho. That photo would have been more appropriate as the feature for a Cass Bird exhibition than a cover for this type of magazine, considering how
haggard, anti-fashion and alienating Daria looks in it.
