Fause Haten F/W 07 São Paulo

With a strong palet of colors (much like Prada's) Fause Haten did a winter with long sleeves and fancy fabrics. Lots of silk (in skinnys, looses, chemises and dresses) and big taffeta coats. The shoes are incredible, with metalic heels and colorful pumps.
The show had a live presentation from Sami Bordokan & the Oriental Orchestra. It is (at least, so far) the exception of the whole grey-is-the-new-black domain. And as usual, it owned nothing to a big Paris show. Couture complex and a bit of Paul Poiret.

Also, Paula Raia (from Raia de Goeye) catwalked a bit and a very famous person that I had no idea who it was sat close to me (I learned later it was Maria Rita, a singer. Yeah, whatever). Funky facts that make no difference.

thanks pandinha! , not a big fause haten fan but this looks almost as good as his SS05 collection .
the proportions as always seem kind of awkward for me, not to mention his palette tends to be a little stiff but this works despite all of that, I think he's gradually moving into some respectable ground..and he's also doing a lovely interpretation of transparency, which has been featured in many shows this season with not nearly as good results.

Oh, I love Fause Haten. The outerwear is impressive, but the drop-waisted dress with feathered skirt and long button-down white/gray shirt/dress are my unanticipated favorites. I also like how the same, strong colors reappear on different looks, at intervals...

They sounded arabian with a more maroc-ish feeling. You see, I can't explain it.
