a little off topic but...
its unfortunate that faye wong and maggie cheung have been eclipsed by 'whatever she calls herself' from crouching tiger/flying daggers.
i was at a preview screening of 'clean' and she was at a q and a afterwards and looks divine in person. ( also if u get the chance catch the film- it's pretty good and answers the question- whatever happened to beatrice dalle?)

i love the chunking express pictures, thanks travolta, there is something to all her characters that seems a mixture of hystery and melancholy, i always think 'violently happy'...

I didn't even know half the stuff she wore was designer. Lanvin, Rochas, Vivienne Westwood.... But I have noticed that especially in Hong Kong the costumes in concerts are like crazy haute couture..a la John Galliano. I can't say I have much appreciation for it but it suits her.

i have only seen in the chungking express...it's in the queue at netflix! hopefully it will be sent to me soon (free trial basis) i thought she was amazing in that movie though -- very loopy indeed
