I like the first one, translucent leather looks really cool, but the colors don't thrill me, a little dull.
i bet the colours look MUCH better in person...that bag is very hard to light ...

and look at all the detail...imagine that up close...

i cannot wait to see this bag in person...i was at barneys this week and didn't see it..i guess the fendi store would carry it...hmmmm....wonder how much it costs.... :P

what do you think of this bag...it reminds me of a mermaid's tail  :P
i just saw a picture of it with beads all over... and the translucent parts are much more visible.
this version is quoted 2140 EUROS!
i think thats whay too much for somethig like that

You know what else is amazing that Fendi did this season? The translucent "whip" belts with the circular obi-styled middle. It's perforated like the bag. Amazing details, but again the colors don't do it for me. Dior used translucent leather as well, but for clothes. There was a tan trench and tap pant suit. It looks amazing, I wonder what it feels like.

I thought that those pieces from the spring collection were made of matte latex? Can anyone clear this up? chanel_girl?

I remember reading an artical about translucent leather in New York Times magazine, they mentioned Dior using it in the spring ready to wear collection and those pieces looked similar to the Fendi bags. Don't quote me on this though, I could be wrong.

i think chanel_girl's husband works for dior...so she could probably clear this up... :flower:
