Fendi F/W 2022.23 Milan

Whatever it is that I just watched, I know for certain it was not fashion. These were tortured clothes- and I am not talking about the fabric treatment. Uninspired and banal each without a hint of beauty or class.

He has managed to erase everything that Karl had created in the matter of just a couple of seasons. I am never one for comparisons, but it is evident that Fendi womenswear has no identity besides a rather unenthused color palette.

As some said, it was his best collection for Fendi yet, but still not good. I do not understand how he manages the light fabrics to look that heavy

Jones needs to take a couple of lessons on colour theory and applications of dyes/pigments to fabric because he has the worst eye for colours. Even his browns and charcoals/greys are lacking. Spring 2000 is so effortless, saturated and sexy without it looking overdone.

I wonder if Jones has a team that is full of "yes" people, because his collections always have several glaringly bad things in them that could be rectified with a "no" or actual constructive criticism. He's a bad designer, yes, but he also has his team that agrees with him which makes it even worse.

who is behind this Kim jones that he still keeps a job not under his own name?!?!?! these collections every season are the worst fashion has ever seen. and the styling — horrendous. cheap. what a shame for such an old house.

Hideous! I thought the Couture show had been rock bottom but we can still go lower apparently. Boring color palette (field with washed out colors that inspire nothing but dread), bad styling and a total lack of originality.

Fendi was so cheerful, fresh and young under Karl (a man in his eighties), specially when compared to this, which looks like the costuming for a The Real Housewives Fight Depression/Go To Rehab reality.

I’m only compelled to like that terracota jacket on Chloe Oh, since it’s the only thing that isn’t sending me straight to the bathroom cabinet in search of Prozac.

I... thought this was superb. For me, Spring 2022 was a touch act to follow but I am very much a fan of this, despite this collection being a vast departure and unlike last season. Kim Jones' RTW Fendi collections always do it for me and this is no exception, I'm rather obsessed.

I have zero shame in admitting that I'd never even came across Karl's much earlier Fendi collections until Jones posted the comparisons, which only cemented my love for this collection even more. Everything just looks so chic, sophisticated and WEARABLE. Massive fan here. Massive.
