Ferragamo S/S 2026 Milan | the Fashion Spot

Ferragamo S/S 2026 Milan

he’s take on with clothes is always so honest and genuine that I’ve always had a soft spot for him.
I believe that Maximilian’s offering is always chic.

I also think there’s an YSL je ne sais quoi and that’s a good thing.

This is elegant and... erotic 🤩

I find very difficult to make transparences look expensive but here it works.
And, like WAVES, I have also a soft spot for him.
He usually mixes classic/boring with "restrained-stunning" in a way that in the end has become personal.
I think I could recognise this as Maximilian Davis' Ferragamo even if I didn't know it was him.

Monsieur…. Maximilian ? Is this you? 🤪

Such a nice comment for this collection could only come from him, his family and his friends.

Just kidding, I like reading your comments, but this is super boring… and super lame. Most of it we have seen it a thousand times in smaller brands, there’s no point of view, just a bunch of basics that are not even well sewn.

It’s true that I appreciate the lack of gimmicks and that he’s not afraid of doing something mature, but this could be anything.

The catwalk was nice and the editing of the video was very well done. Props to whoever did it.

I don't know about you all but I really like the colour play here, those blots of something bright here and there within a rather conservative colour blocking. Not a fan of that tailoring - it's well done but not my taste at all. As a skinny milennial I like my blazers to be close to my body.

The shoes are great.

Definitely one of the nicer collections of this MFW. More interesting than Fendi or Cavalli for sure. Very mature.

😍🤣❤️

I think that Davis has consistently produced some of best collections in Milan's recent seasons for Ferragamo. I'm also pleasantly surprised that they've kept him for so long. Part of me thinks that it's because it's the first time that Ferragamo has actually been part of the fashion conversation and they're probably very eager to keep that.

+1. And call me crazy, but I'd love to see his take on Versace, with the right support behind him. He's the best when working with more sensual pieces, the minute he tries to be conceptual it gets quite messy and not sharp enough. He definitely knows how to create the right aura around his shows, it's just a shame it doesn't really translate well for the campaigns.

Still, it's one of the best collections this season, and I hope he'll stay at the brand for a while to let us watch his evolution as a designer.
