What's the difference?

What do they really mean?

Which would you rather be?

Discuss.

^_^

IMO, fierce means making a decent "angry face" without looking like you're going to the bathroom in your pants.

Fabulous is carrying a bunch of shopping bags on your arms and chatting on your cell on Rodeo Drive.

I'd rather be fierce. Then, I could make a sexy/angry face without looking like a stubborn 4th grader. :lol:

I don't know what the difference is suppose to be but I know that those words don't make me think of things I want to be considered. I prefer to be considered something I think is more interesting, but I can't decide what word I would choose. I like the word whimsical but I don't think the word applies to me as much as it might apply to someone else.

wow, interesting question!

fierce is hardcore, take no prisoners glam; fab is cool, consistent, elegance...

The situation calls for either on a given day, but i prefer to be fierce...:mowhawk:

funny topic...:p

moved to personal style...

;)

My two cents:

fierce -> hot & gleaming (fire)
fab -> cool & smooth (ice/ water)

me = ambiguous ;)

Fierce = Victoria Beckham

Fabulous = Nicole Richie

The same thing but executed differently.

B)

Fierce - Intense drama. This title usually focuses on the personality of the person. Whether it's strong personal style, wicked physical beauty, or intellectual wit.

Fabulous - More of an all around lifestyle title. When someone is fabulous, you usually factor in more than just how they're dressed. You look at how and where they live, what and where they eat, who they socialize with, what type of car they drive, what kind of phone they have, etc.

Fierce... I love the word. :lol:

For me it means strong, aggressive, fantastic... with attitude.

fierce is to Eartha Kitt as catwoman
as fabulous is to Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's

I see fierce as being more edgy, rockstar type of image (Rihanna), and fabulous as more diva-like glamour...I think Beyonce fits the latter. I'd love to be fierce but I think I'm more suited to fabulous.

hahaha the first thing i thought of when i saw this was that guy Christian from this season's Project Runway!

I think anyone can have their own definitions...
when i think of 'fierce', i think edginess.. Alejandro comes to mind. B)
when i think fabulous.. i think glitz and glam.. sparkly and shiny.. with a hollywood flair to it.

It isn't necessary to be one versus the other.. be yourself.. dress what you like.. and all that jazz. ^_^

and to the op, what are your opinions?

"discuss"... we have discussed, now perhaps your turn too? ;)

To me, a person who is fierce has a swagger, that is still evident even when they look like crap. Meaning they will still turn heads no matter what.

Fabulous is more an image thing to me, a lifestyle, like someone mentioned above. You can't be fabulous if you look like crap. It's more of a production, high maintenance.
