There was an interview with her somewhere that told how she was discovered. She signed with Ralph when she was 15 and never had to work her way up like most famous models have. She has never worked for anyone else and probably at this rate will never have to.

I don't like the idea of a model working exclusively for one designer/apparel company. In my opinion, a model should subjected to the unique creativity of every individual designer--it gives the viewing public a chance to see how many different looks and personaes they can take on. Fillippa is obviously a very attractive woman (tho' not of one my favorites--there's a toughness to her look that I cannot abide), and it's unfortunate that we only get to see her as Ralph Lauren's clothes-hanger.

^ I agree somewhat AshtonK....I wish that we could see her in more ads/eds/shows, but if I were a model and making the money that she is making in her contract with RL, I would be just fine with it.
