I've just bought what I thought was some basic and classic pieces from there! Spent about $95 for 3 hats, 2 shirts, a belt, pants, and a long cardigan!
Can't wait till it arrives to start piecing different outfits together

I just bought a leather jacket - which is freakishly soft for only $100 (real leather) and fits extremely well and a lace dress that is adorable. Very happy with today's purchases!

oo i saw $150 black leather jacket in stores and it was awesome and soft but i already have too many. f21 stuff usually runs pretty small so maybe order a L but im not sure how the jacket sizing runs, sorry!

I'd say it runs true to size to a little bit smaller. I am wearing a size S, and my size is usually XS-S.

maybe its just me....but forever 21 is the definition of tacky...

their clothes don't fit right and the materials attract lint....i just don't know why people like the brand at all

i've been inside at least three forever 21 stores and they are all the same - messy layout, loads of out of style clothing, and no defined style

I'm inclined to agree. I was recently in US and was very interested to check f21 out and I was soo dissapointed. It reminds me a lot of our Valley Girl and Tempt chains in Australia. There are probably some cute hidden things- especially when it comes to jewelery and accessories, (I will admit to finding a fab beaded tassle necklace that would be impossible tell its from a cheap store if you took it out of context) but the clothes look like they would fall apart first time in the wash. And for some reason the NY stores were a lot worse than those in LA? I have no issue with cheap clothes, I just prefer them to look expensive

i read somewhere that the messy, cramped layout of the stores is part of the chain's philosophy. to make it more of a bazaar-type atmosphere where you have to hunt for treasures.

i did notice that with the new, open-layout store that debuted down the road, I don't enjoy shopping there quite as much.

No, we try and go for the boutique look and everything is organized into different themes. BUT some F21s don't maintain it and that's why it's messy.

I say shop there during the weekday and you won't be waiting in line forever.
