rich and dramatic, thanks for posting MrDale

could it be inspired by beauty-and-the-beast like ticsi at Givenchy ?

At first glance, I thought that the floral arrangement behind her was the BIGGEST, MOST TACKIEST HEADPIECE ever created in the couture.

But I like what I see so far. Great colors in this collection.

That makes sense Lena, with the mirror and all.

It seems slightly baroque, but not in a bad way, just very detailed and ornate.

well put :flower: the fourth dress (the violet) is lovely :woot:

Gorgeous. It brings to mind the album cover of the Cure's "Disintegration".

adore the fourth dress as well... but not liking the rest of the pieces...

I like a few pieces of it, it's surprisingly good for Sorbier who generally creates ultra-stodgy or ultra-tacky HC. Ill never forget his F/W 04, it was the worst thing Ive ever seen.

i think its lovely  the prince and princess theme is also fun~

fascinating. can't wait to see the rest...and thanks for the pics, Mr-Dale.

The whole collection is up at Elle.com...it's quite a beautiful presentation, I felt a dark, brooding mood, somewhat opera/ballet inspiration, but nothing too literal.

Wow, love it. Very McQueen.

Very odd - I bought some previous seasons' Franck Sorbier shoes from a consignmnent store for around $4 a pair  the exact same ones are on this catwalk too (the wine & black lace-up ones) I don't like them personally, but figured for that price I really should have them!

I like some pieces but find it a little "German" in presentation (if that makes sense? )
