Armani Privé FW 0506 Haute Couture Paris

I like a few of the looks at a first glance, but the individual pieces are even worth shaking a stick at. People tout Armani as a master... but I don't agree. I don't own anything from any of his collections and probably never will. The aesthetic is tired.

Hum ... maybe the fact that Tom is no longer designed seems like a window of opportunity for Armani

I'm not really sure how I feel about this collection.. I kind of like this look.

I am obsessed with black, so I think that this is the only chord this "couture" ( ;) ) show has struck with me.. The silhouettes and fabrics of the dresses are gorgeous, but pretaporter is what I'm sensing as well..

Paris Fall 2005 Couture

From what i see of this event, the most relevants in elegance and beauty realistic desings are Giorgio Armani, Chanel-Karl Lagerfeld, and Valentino collections.
Others are original and nice, but some of them, in some extension a little out of the day to day final users needs. Couture needs jumps, but for what are looking most of womans, the first goes in a most pure line, working with known elements that makes more dificult to combine with rounds results, as they do.
