Franck Sorbier FW 0506 Haute Couture Paris

can you elaborate further? about the german presentation that is ... i'd be interested:D

its like too dramatic in a heavy 'old school' way..
lets say stuck to 92-93 esthetics or something..
i'm sure stylista will have more to add

i thought the same thing about the presentation, i guess i can see why that would be associated with germany... a bit dusty/staubig^_^

glad to see you, stilista!

Hi Ak :flower: I'm not exactly sure I can put into words what I mean, but it does remind me of all the images I used to see in Burda pattern magazines I bought as a teenager in the 80's/early 90's  They would have a selection of "high fashion" images and then show you how to make the watered down version yourself.

I feel although some of the pieces could be rather beautiful or even quite McQueen (as Diorling said), the styling (the Elizabethan look with thigh high boots!) and dated catwalk presentation makes it unappealing. I associate some looks with certain countries, and Sorbier makes me think ""Germany". I hope this makes sense! :D
