Frederic Auerbach was born as American/Swiss in Switzerland where he grew up. He speaks fluent english, german and french. After art school (HGKZ) in Zürich, he assisted well known photographers in Milan and Paris. Since more than 15 years he lives and works in Paris and belongs to the well known and established fashion photographers in the parisian fashion world. His subjects are very often famous models and actors like: Sharon Stone, Nathalie Portman, Charliz Theron, Beth Ditto, Rosamund Pike, Roxane Mesquida, Jude Law, Eva Green, Kimi Raikkönnen, Pixie Lott, Naomi Campell, Eva Herzigova, Audrey Marney, Clemence Poesie, Noemie Lenoir, Patricia Kaas, Stella Tenant, Devon Aoki, Kirsten Owen, Maria Carla, Melanie Laurent, Sophie Marceau.
In his pictures he loves to show liveliness and reality, he also loves the speed in which the fashion world is moving on and changes.
