Ok, this is probably silly to ask this here, but oh why not.

I was at the French Connection store in Boston today and I saw this awesome leather jacket on sale for 199 (plus 40% extra off) I would've bought it, but it was in small and I needed medium. It was the only one there and I (probably should've, but) didn't ask anyone there if they had it in any other sizes. As I got home, I regret not at least trying to ask. But I was also thinking, would it be possible to ask them to check at some of their other stores and see if they had it in that size and if I could get it for that sale price? Dumb question to ask here?

I went online to their official website and on the first page, I'm pretty sure this is the jacket (thought I wish I could see it up closer), but I can't find it anywhere else there.

Any suggestions?

Of course! It is worth a try :flower: Just call ASAP because it was on sale!

Buyer Beware: inside source @ FCUK (yes, the Boston one too) said their leather jackets ALWAYS get returned and really aren't worth the money..

Dont say I didnt warn ya..

I have a couple of French connection pieces - bought in the UK - agreed not leather jackets - but 2 cardigan coats and several silk blouses that I adore and are admired by lots of people. I think some of their pieces - granted I typically by in store so as to verify quality - are excellent - stylish and great value for money.

i like french connection for the most part but wouldnt buy anything for full price there.

im tempted to get one of their sequin dresses actually.

i think their prices are very much over inflated.

Has anyone seen this leather biker jacket in store yet?

you should have absolutely asked a saleperson to look in the back for your size. 99% of the time i don't see my size on the floor there they have it in the back. but if they don't have it in your size at all, you can have them call a different store in the same city so the item can be put on hold for you. boston has two french connections, fyi. also, did you check on online to see if it's on their e-store?

It's not one of my favourite high street shops but, since they have a sale going on i went in to have a look.Ended up with this dress, love the bird embellishment and how versatile it is.
What about you guys? have you bought anything recently?

the only thing ive bought from french connection is a dress last year which i no longer wear!

i think they have some great stuff but for us petite ladies, i think their sizes just end up too big. i ended up liking another silk ruffle layer dress in their summer sale but the top part of it was just too long and big (and yes i tried a 6 which is their smallest size!)and since it was a one shoulder dress just didnt work on me.
saying that i dont think i would ever pay full price but its a great place to check out during sales time.

How do you find FCUK's quality to be?

In my search for the perfect striped tee I found one on their website (the toulouse tee). It is 32 pounds, which is not a lot, but I do not have the funds to buy something in a bad quality.

generally their quality is pretty good from my experience

I've been buying from French Connection for years and all of their items have been of great quality and have lasted for a very long time. Their pricing is a bit expensive, considering most of it seems to be factory-made, but the materials they use are beautiful.

I can't comment on their leather jackets but I have two coats from them (I used to have a cropped cotton jacket, but i left it on a bus :(... ) and they have lasted through a LOT of use.
